Ive been brewing going on 30 years, but just became home brew crazy in 2010.
Ive used all kinds of set ups from brew in a bag to a custom rims recirculation controlled by pids, i currently have a KAL clone herms set up which I love because I dont have to watch it like a baby, I also fly sparge for a hour leaving me at least 80% or more conversion which is what I set most of my recipes. I have good city tap water here but most of the time I filter through 1 or 2 whole house carbon filters and it takes out any strange flavors added from my tap water, I do change my water with brewing salts when needed
