Do again? Hell Yes! Malty, sweet, clear. The best I've brewed so far. Tiny bit over carbonated. I think the extra ABV helped a lot.
MM Kit - Suggested Yeast: S-23 or WLP800, or Wyeast 2001. I used SafLager S-189 that came with Bock kit by mistake. Fermented around 18c.

Man, I cant believe I didnt take any notes on this until now.
The beer is kegged and almost carbonated. Its clean and enjoyable lager, and even though i like malty lagers like festbier and marzen, this is too malty sweet and thick.
Chad projected the wort to be at 1060 and I think it came out a little over that. I was thinking 1060 would be ok for the top end / max OG for a premium lager but they went over, and more importantly i did not consider that that 1060 was pre boil. my post boil is showing 1066 on this recipe, not sure if i updated this after brew day but i wouldnt be surprised if it was 1070.
now, the beer is almost finished carbonating. its been kegged for a few weeks. i have about 2 or 3 more weeks until i need to turn it in. its not brilliant clear yet.
i think i am going to open up the keg, add (more?) gelatin and water. I cant remember if i did gelatin before, idk why i wouldnt have. i probably need to drink 2 or 3 full pints to see if its clearing. but yea def gonna water down by 0.25 - 0.5 gallon.
