Soft, smooth, dark, chocolatey and a force to be reckoned with. This gentle giant will never bite, but you'll still want to be on your best behaviour! We recommend adding the chocolate malt at the start of the run off to ensure you extract the flavour and colour without imparting too much of the astringency of the malt into your wort.
