Notes: Directions:
Water Profile: Ca 90 ppm, Mg 4 ppm, SO4 57 ppm, Na 61 ppm, Cl 76 ppm, HCO3 239 ppm Mash grains at 149° F (65° C) for 60 minutes. Mash out at 168° F (76° C) for 10 minutes. Sparge at the same temperature. 60 minute boil. Ferment for 2 weeks at 68° F (20° C). Force carbonate to 2.7 volumes of CO2.

Great aroma, good berry flavor. Far more than the original beer though. Too tart. Need to mash higher and use a lower attenuation yeast next time.
FOR 2022 BATCH:
- Increase mash temp to 150F
- Increase Crystal 10L to 8oz
- Omit lactic acid
- Lower IBUs to 8-12

Notes: 168 too high, my mash temp was in the mid 160's almost the entire 60 mins mash. I would go with strike water temp of 163-164F next time. expected grains to pull down temp alot more than they actually did. hopefully ill pull out at pretty much the right OG. OG : 1.040. split between two 3 gallon fermenters |
