Rakau

Description: "A New Zealand triploid, purpose-bred and selected for its unique dual purpose brewing qualities and characteristics, Rakau has yielded great results over several brewhouse applications through sensory panels that have scored uniformly high on the quality of bitterness as well as unique fruity flavours and aromas. It was once described as “The whole orchard." It is often used in New World styles of ales and lagers where brash fruity character and big but well constructed bitterness is desired. It is great when used in combination of very late additions and dry hopping."
