brewed a couple days ago. pre boil refractometer showed 1080, including the DME and sugar. forgot to take post boil. i wouldve thought the post boil OG wouldve been higher. tilt showed 1080 at best

need to check on the lovibond of the candi sugar when you get to the store and adjust. if only super dark is available, consider mixing light and dark to aim for the middle of the SRM range for the style |

Notes: Soak Vanilla Beans in Vodka for 2 days and add to secondary for 3 days.
Add Mix the pumpkin pie spice with a couple ounces of vodka to make a tincture. Add to bottle/keg prior to adding beer. Start small and add as needed. Can add tablespoon of maple syrup or splenda for a hint of sweet. |
