Notes: Maybe Prairie Pilsner Malt for main base with a little Belgomalt Pilsner malt.
After pulling first half (to be used towards the traditional rice lager), add 3 lbs Lotus, and 2 lbs lemon Drop, and 1lb Calypso. Whirlpool for 5 mins to mix. Rest for 20 mins. Knock out second half for the Hazy Rice IPA.

Notes: A American wheat beer with medium hopping and a fairly clean, neutral finish - a spritzy, refreshing warm-weather crowd-pleaser. | Notes: 6 grams sugar/liter for second fermentation. Adjusting water to a balanced profile. Ph: 5.3. The beer develops. After a couple of months it is smoth and the initial bitterness of the hops are perfectly integrated with the maltiness. The slight chocolate from the Midnight Weat adds a rather smoth flavor, whilst it still tastes as a malty lager beer. A positive surprise. |
