Overnight chill
Perte d'environ 1,5L dans kettle pour garder ça clean car agglutination dû à l'ajout d'algue en fin de boil.
OG: 1,058 (ajout de 3L d'eau et target incluant l'ajout d'eau était 1,060)
Demi sachet de levure Belle Saison. Mis en tourie le 25 mars 2020. Bon goût léger, belle couleur. L'ajout du special roast rend ça avec un peu plus de corps et de goût. L'amertume est bien. Le dry hop devrait venir atténuer ça et ajouter une belle touche!
Fermentation entre 16 et 17 degrés

Excellent goût, on sent relativement bien le houblon, tenue de mousse est bonne. Au goût, on goûte un certain "belge" comme épicé. (Clairement la levure Belle Saison!) C'est subtil et parfait!. L'amertume est bonne, pas trop, pas pas assez. Je mettrai un PETIT peu plus de houblons en DH mais très léger. |

| Notes: Buffalo Trace barrel preferred. Grain bill was not modified as it was built for a high gravity imperial stout that will pair perfectly with being barrel aged. We omitted the 20 minute Galena aroma addition because it will be nullified in the barrel. We bumped up the 60 minute addition to compensate for the removal of the 20 minute addition and expected loss of bitterness while aging. |
