***NOTE: Protein break occurred 5-10 minutes after boiling started and initial foam went away. Surprised us at 5 minutes into 60 minute timer and after hops added.***
FERMENTATION:
Temp. Corrected OG = 1.044
Dropped to 76F.
Trub clogged outlet in last gallon, so we had to just let it in the primary.
Put in 45F fermentation chamber. Dropped to around 65F. Pitched. Set chamber to 60F.
Day 1 - Fermentation began. Set 1F high/low to tighten control. (Initially at 3F high/low) |
