Notes: Mash at 155 F (68°C) for 60 minutes. Lauter, sparge, and collect wort. Boil 60 minutes, adding hops as indicated. Cool to 67˚F. Ferment at 67°F (19°C) until specific gravity stabilizes at or near 1.018 SG
After fermentation cold crash if possible and then rack beer off yeast and onto coffee in a CO2-purged secondary vessel. Let beer sit on coffee for 48 hours, cold if possible, and then rack off the coffee and bottle or keg. |

Mashed in with 4 gallons of 166 degree water, held mash at 154 for 60 minutes. Added 5.7 quarts of boiling water to raise temp to 168, held for 10 minutes. Added 6.3 quarts of 176 degree water to raise temp to 170 to mash out.
Ran off about 6.75 gallons of wort after giving bag a couple of light squeezes. Pre boil gravity of 1.046
75 minute boil, finished with about 5.25 gallons. Actual OG 1.056
