pre fermentation pH 5.13 after 5 cc or so of lactic acid
was supposed to be dry hopped w/ 2 oz of simcoe and 2 oz of citra.... but hop flavor and aroma was too pungent and adding dry hop would have overwhelmed pilsner aspect and pushed straight into pale ale territory |

Had some mashing problems with new equip on the first run. Efficiency was way off, but so was water ammount, so I still got to the target OG. Measured to 1010 FG after fermenting 12 days.
Very tasty, think I'll make this my regular "hop-fix" :) |

Notes: My 1st beer brewed. While this is a hop thief 8, you can substitute different hops for the different numbers. While the beer was good, it didn't pack as much punch as I was hoping. I'm going to try grain additions & these amounts in a 23L batch to see what happens. Cheers. |
