Smak: Rom-lignende, litt varme, medium mixed estere, rund. Kan gi kraftig tropisk fruktaroma, hvis den brukes riktig. Har en tendens til å lage kraftig bitterhet, så vær forsiktig med å ikke koke humlen, eller for å redusere IBU.
Kilde: Denne kveik kommer fra Jens Aage Øvrebust. Jens brygget opprinnelig rå øl, men begynte å koke vørteren fordi øla ble sur av og til. Jens foretrekker ikke å la gjæren gå over 30 grader. Vanligvis ferdig gjera på 4-6 dager. Jens går vanligvis ned til en SG på 1010, fordi han ikke vil at ølen er søt. Han sier at gjæra alltid har vært i dalen så langt han vet.
