40 liter vatn og 10 kg malt, malten absoberer ca 10 liter vatn. (ca 1 liter pr kg) Desse 10 literene vil forbli i malten. Teoretisk vil du då ha igjen ca 30 liter med vørter. Etterskylling med 20 liter vatn i maltrøyret, vil tilsei at du har igjen ca 50 liter vørter før innkoking. Etter innkoking og kjøling vil du ha ca 45 liter netto. Mine erfaringar at det passar bra. Alt ut frå malttyper og meskeprosess vil då vørteren ha ein OG på mellom 1060 - 1068. Kan sjølvsagt tilsette kokt vatn til slutt for å justera til ein lågare OG om det er aktuelt.
