I've had a lot of heavier beers and IPA's lately and I want something that's easy to drink. I would do a lager but i don't think I want to wait that long. It's also starting to feel like fall outside so I want to bump the ABV up from the amber and pale ale I made earlier. I'm looking to hit about 6% ABV which should also help the beer keep a little longer as well. The amber started to lose it's fresh taste around 2.5-3 months. FG was 1.012 The final product had a off note that tasted sterile or band aid like. I think it came from the white sugar which is white because it has been bleached white. The chlorine content caused the phenolic off flavor. So use better sugar next!
