Notes: I brewed today on 2/13. I ended up with a pretty low starting gravity of 36. Have a feeling I didn't crush the wheat enough. Will update you when it has been kegged.
As of the 20th it has been kegged. The final gravity of 6. Pretty happy with the results, took a week of off-gassing to get rid of the sulfur smell produced by the german yeast, but it ended up making a really easy-to-drink and good-tasting beer. |

- Looks like the wheat hurt the efficiency. The raw wheat especially didn't look crushed well.
- Gravity 6/8/21 = 1.012
-Final gravity = 1.012. Kegged 6/27/21. 4.9% ABV. |

Notes: Start with a biab infusion with all RO water. Add the chemical additives per Other Ingredients list to the full 5 gallons and then split - 3.50 gallons in the kettle, and on the side, 1.50 gallon to rinse the grains and to increase the pre-boil volume to 4.25 gallons. Should end with just over 3.6 gallons in the fermentor. |
