Notes: This is one of my favorite beers. It is a clone of Lone Pint’s, Yellow Rose IPA in Magnolia,Texas.
It has great hop flavor because mosaic hops are amazing and they really shine through from start to finish.
You know it’s a good beer when non-craft beer drinkers like it. :)
If you want it less hoppy, move the 30 minute addition to a 5 or at flameout. That will provide great flavors and make this brew even more drinkable. You can even dial back the gypsum if you want less hop bite and a stronger malt backbone. It’s your brew, make it the way you want to. :)

Notes: Mesker du ved litt lavere termperatur, ned mot 63 grader får du et tørrere øl med tynnere kropp og noe større utgjæring. Foretrekker du øl med litt mer kropp, fylde og restsødme kan du meske opp mot 67 grader, men du får da en litt mindre utgjæring og dered litt lavere alkoholstyrke.

Ved tilsetting av 500g lys Spraymalt : OG 1061 FG 1011 = 6.6%
Ved tilsetting av 1000g Pale Malt : OG 1063 FG 1012 = 6.6%
Ved tilsetting av 500g Lyst Candissukker : OG 1061 FG 1008 = 7%
Humle:
Det kan benyttes mange ulike humlevarianter til denne maltblandingen, men husk å ta hensyn til humletypene og alfasyre nivået. Noen humler passer best som bitterhumle (lang koketid), andre best som smak/arome (kort koketid eller whirlpool med hopstand). Og noen passer til begge deler (dual purpose).
Ønsker du å lære en spesifikk humle å kjenne må du gjerne forsøke å brygge et Singel Hop øl. Prøv for eksempel Sorachi Ace, Pacific Gem, Citra, Nelson Sauvin eller noen av våre mange humlesorter. |

Ferment in primary for 3 days at 66° F (19° C). If possible, dry hop using a stainless steel dry hopping canister (it helps to add a layer of leaf hops on top of the pellets to contain the small particles). With about 1° P remaining, perform a closed transfer to a keg and attach a spunding valve, then allow to carbonate/finish. Otherwise ferment in primary to terminal gravity and rack/package as usual. |
