Started at approx. 5.5-6 gals at 1.064 into fermenter. Aerated wort with paint stirrer for about 4-5 mins before pitching yeast. 11 days in primary . racked at 1.008 SG. 10 days in secondary (dry hop), with last 3 being cold crash before racking to bottling bucket. used the east kent golding hops at dry hop just because i had it lying around and wanted to use it up. we'll see how it turns out. Next time, I want to try this with amarillo and simcoe (like sculpin uses) late in boil and dry hop. use homegrown centennial and cascade for early addition and bittering. SG ended up at 1.005 (much lower than expected). With lower volume than expected, this ended up being a stronger (7.9 ABV) IPA than I thought.
