| Notes: Set boil size to 3 gal. Steep grain in 2 gallons for 45 minutes. Rinse with 1 gallon. Use 1 lb wheat LME for 3 gal boil in addition to steeping grains. Reduce initial hop to 20g, second hop 8g to achieve 15 IBU. Add remaining wheat LME and honey after boil. |

Notes: I found this recipe online (http://beersmithrecipes.com/viewrecipe/189/cherry-vanilla-stout) originally. I modified it to fit what my home brew shop had. I also replaced the DME with LME and it worked great. Strong cherry aroma, subtle cherry flavor and the vanilla is not noticeable. A week in primary, two weeks in secondary, cold crashed a week, and keg conditioned for a week.

| Notes: One gallon of treetop juice, add the turbinado and hops. Shake like crazy till its all dissolved. Pitch the yeast, stop it up with airlock wat ten days, then secondary for three weeks. Bottle and condition for three weeks. Enjoy! |
