Notes: Recipe for the Brewhouse Collective Wheat Beer Competition. Idea is to get a good smokeyness from the smoked wheat but a nice clean profile from the american yeast.
Quantity is slightly raised, one of the biggest batches I've done, purely for the sake of being able to keep some to myself after I've bottled some.
Adjuncts included the zest of 1 lemon, 2tbsp of rosemary, basil and corriander, dried and added at the start of the boil.

It's getting to be fairly cold here so I may let it ferment inside instead of sticking it in the fridge. Probably would be a better time of year to start a lager but I did not think of that while I was in the brewshow. Maybe I'll get one going right after this one is in kegs. |
