What it turned out to be was a pretty darn good Pale Ale so I changed the category I listed it in. My OG was 1.058 little low from listing final was 1.011 ended at around 6 ABV. I'll be making this again.

This is a West Coast styled IPA using very little toasted malt, resulting in a very light coloured and mild tasting IPA without the sometimes distracting flavours that too much toast and caramel can add to IPAs. In my opinion, really good IPAs are not malty at all, allowing the true nature and flavour of the hops to shine through. Flame out addition of Galaxy Hops provides an exceptionally balanced flavour with notes of passionfruit, grapefruit, pineapple, and hibiscus. Give it a shot
