| Notes: Straight forward recipe. I just made this (1/13/20) for the first time and tried it on 1/26/20. Taste great. Nice head retention, little bitterness and smooth. It was a cold day in the garage so my mash temp went down to 145-146. Otherwise no big deal. |

Notes: Zest 7 cuties (mini oranges) and sanitize in vodka. Add to fermenter after 4 days. (Mandarin oranges are an acceptable substitute)
After 11 days, move beer to brite tank (secondary fermenter)
Additional note: This recipe is designed for use with a 8 gal MLT & kettle and requires a top off into the fermenter. If you have a 10+ gal vessel, increase your sparge water amount to 3.5 gal and the boil volume to 6 gal. |
