Notes: Add blackprinz end of mash. Added big pitch of yeast (7 qt starter), finished primary in 4 days. Started @ 45F day 1, 2, ramp to 51F day3, 55F day4, 58F day5,6, 64F days7-10, or till no airlock activity noted. Drop back to 40F over 4 days, then lager 31F 4 wks.
*NOTE finished beer too roasty for style. Next time, use more Munich I, than II, take out Caramunich, wheat, use caramel 40 instead. |

Single infusion mash, target temp range of 150 to 154 °F. Lower gravity beer, use higher end of temp - leave beer with a bit more fullness. If bigger beer, use lower end of range to avoid too full of a character, which can limit drinkability.

12:15, Färdigt, 26l vört, SG: 1.0045, Brix: 11.5
14:00, Börjar med att koka ner vörten lite.
15:10, Första humlegivan.
16:00, 2a humlegivan och farinsocker.
16:15, 22l är kylt, skakat och pitchat. OG: 1.060 Refrakt: 1.055, Brix: 14
17:00, Grovstäda, tar resten imorgon.
