Hop schedule the same as Hot Tub Time Machine except I used Citra/Galaxy. All boil hops were citra them galaxy citra in whirlpool and 50/50 dry hop
9:55 raised temp for mash out. 10:00 temp at 170 raised basket

11;26 added 0.25oz citra 11:45 added 0.25oz citra Added 3tsp yeast nut

Notes: Added 1/2 tsp of Amylase to get the FG lower. Looking for a very dry IPA. Should be more bitter than the standard Brut IPA definition, but I think it will be ok. FG came in at 1.004. Mouth feel was thinner than I actually liked. Aroma is outstanding. Beer is easy to drink, would leave out the enzyme next time. |
