Quick Instructions:
1) Steep crushed grains for 10-30 minutes at 155°F
2) Add Malt Extract while Pot if off the burner
3) Bring to boil - ADD 1.0 oz Cascade bittering hops (60 Minutes)
4) Add 1 oz Fuggle flavor hops for last 2 minutes.
5) Col and add Yeast
6) Ferment and package (2 Stage fermentation is Recommended) |

| Notes: This was my first brew and I think it has turned out pretty good. I just bottled it and will be anxious to crack it open in 2 weeks. Before bottling the taste was right where you would want it for a blonde. I am just hoping both the malt and bitterness mellow a little bit and just flow together. Im pretty excited. I am going to try in July to do this same recipe but All Grain. |

Notes: Prepare a 4L yeast starter.
Mash the crushed grains in 5 quarts water.
Hold temperature at 150F for one hour.
Strain wort into brew kettle and sparge grains with one gallon of water at 170F.
Add malt extract and bring boil volume to 3.5 gallons. 60-minute boil. Add hops according to schedule.
Chill wort, pitch yeast starter, and ferment at 60-65F for one week, then transfer to secondary for two weeks. Bottle with priming sugar and condition for two weeks. |
