| Notes: To brew the Left Hand Milk Stout clone, mash at 151°F (66°C) for 90 minutes. Boil for 90 minutes, following hop schedule. Add lactose 15 minutes before end of boil. Ferment at 70°F (21°C), then condition in secondary at 60°F (16°C) for at least one week. |

Notes: Pitched decanted starter of ~400B Cells. Pitched and fermented at 70* for 6 days then finished in 85* garage for a few days. Directly bottle conditioned from primary via valve and spring-loaded bottle filler.
Planning to add one packet of US-05 4-5 days into primary to combat this strain's tendency to stall. LHBS was out of French Saison which I would normally use for this purpose. |
