Add a few rice hulls for total volume sparge on a large batch.
Used five gallons for mash , then topped of with remaining water. Then collected runnings all at once. |

Notes: Added lemon juice at dry hop time. 250mls heated to kill bugs then cooled and added to ferment.
This was a higher gravity than I wanted as I watered it down with 3.75L of soda water at kegging time. That bought it down to 4.3% and it made the lemon even nicer due to the change in PH from the soda water. |

| Notes: Needed bigger boil size. Dumped .75 gal from mash when got to 14.25. 15 gal good. Used 17 gal mash/sparge water, needed 17.5 for 26 lbs of grain. Actually used 3 oz EKG but didn't completely dissolve in small screened hops container. |
