| Notes: Characterized by a light pilsner-like color, this light, sessionable beer has a BU:GU ratio of about .55. The malty characteristics are light with a touch of honey and table sugar. Hops aromas include flowers, lemon peel, plumb, passion fruit, gooseberry, lemongrass, and white grapes. Hops flavors are exceptionally fresh and flavor this beer with passion fruit, grapefruit, pineapple, gooseberry, lemongrass, white wine, floral notes, pepper, lemon-citrus and dark fruit. |

・見た目はGoldenでクリア。泡持ちもよくコントラストが美しい。
・花に近づけると、イースト由来のフルーティなエステル。
・味はモルトの甘味を僅かに感じられる。
・苦味はほとんどなく、スッときれる切れ味。

・タコとグレープフルーツのマリネ、ピクルス
# 醸造のこだわりポイント
・余計な甘さを控えるように、マッシング温度は64°C。Thicknessは3.0にして酵素を全体に行き渡らせる。マルトースの効率をよく。マッシング時間は60分しっかりとる。
・78°Cのお湯を加え温度を上げる。また、RIMSを駆使して、75°Cを目指す。
・スパージングの最後の方は、バケツを用いてモーターで引っ張らない。 |

Notes: The Olive Backed Sunbird is a common Honeyeater at Taylors Beach. It has a beautiful yellow breast - similar in colour to a German Pils.
2 packs (11.5g each) to ensure adequate yeast.
First Brew of this version 6/11/2024
OG: 1057
FG:
The wort was overboiled losing one extra Litre of wort hence the high OG in comparison to predicted. Will need to adjust boil off rate.
Cold conditioned after fermentation finished at around 4C in fermenter 2 weeks then bottle conditioned 1 week. Further 2 weeks cold conditioning in bottle. Excellent clarity.
Bottled with gelatine finings
