Notes: Pitch yeast at 70F for 12 hrs, then ferment at 40F for 2 weeks, rack and ferment 70F 2 days, followed by 3-4 weeks at 40F.
An excellent Helles! Served at my parents 80th birthday celebration. Lots of compliments from the crowd.
Named as during brew day my highschool daughter got 2 flat tires requiring a unique recovery effort and a fast & direct drive home! The following day the name was coined, 'Flat Tire Helles'.
This is one of my favorite beers especially on a warm summer evening. It is crisp and refreshing with minimal hops.
