Notes: This is a NEIPA from Geterbrewed although i never got the hop schedule... or the actual full grain bill composition... so i'm gonna wing it!

Geterbrewed has been experimenting and we have designed an amazing new NEIPA using Australian hops. This beer has a pillowy mouthful and has some seriously beautiful hop aroma and juicy hop flavour.

| Notes: Add orange zest to boil as per kolsch. Add oranges and concetrate to fermenter when fermentation slows, 3 to 4 days. When fermentation is complete, soft crash to 60 degrees, add hops and vanilla (1 vanilla bean split and scraped with just enough vodka to cover) and spund at 10 to 15 psi for 5 days. Cold crash then transfer to keg. |

Notes: First attempt at a traditional kristallweizen. Since I still lack the ability to maintain lagering temperatures or cold crash, I am choosing a yeast that still gives us a good ester content at warmer temperatures. In order to get that clear kristall nature of this brew, I chose one with a medium to high flocculation.
Lastly, the addition of Irish moss to my boil should help with the clarity as well. |
