Notes: Etter mesking, kjøl til 43 grader, og tilsett 200 gram ukvernet malt. Lot stå 2 dager på 43 grader til ph ca. 3.4 (målt med strips, så ganske unøyaktig)
Silte av malt, kote opp, tilsett humle, og ryllik. Kjøl ned og tilsett gjær som vanlig.

Notes: This beer is brewer to honor those who fought to for our freedom, so please bring a toast to honor those men and women.
The reciepe is based on original St. Austell, No. 98 PA, June 6.1944 Brewing log.
Tapped to firkins and 5L party Kegs and primed with sugar. Conditioned for 2 weeks in casks.
Serve at 12 - 15 C, wonderful round mouth feel, friendly bitter, slightly fruity and hoppy nose, dark amber in color, with nutty and caramel notes.
On purpose: Very low in Co2

We are now tucking in to this beer. Initially it is very bitter but it then mellows to a lovely dark chocolate after taste.
