| Notes: This beer has no hops in it, It is based off of medieval time ingredients with the modern way of brewing. I discovered this a couple years ago and was very interested. I like to sample all along the process and was very worried till it was carbonated. The Mugwort kept giving off a tree bark taste to the unfinished beer. Once it was done and ready to drink, it kinda has a tart Root Beer taste to it. And very enjoyable!! |

14.5 brix @ 4.8 gal, will dilute to 5
4/20/2016: 1.008 grav, moderately sour, still some sweetness/malt in the background, pleasing.
9/10/2016: 1.005 grav, smells a tiny bit horsey, tastes pretty sour, not much sweetness anymore. putting on 2 pounds dry black currants` |
