2017- We are hack Garage Brewers just having fun and drinking good beer. Now if I could just get this damn old el camino outta the way we'd be ready for some serious sessions!
Update! The El Camino has moved off site and we've built a Craftbeer Pi automated e-rims system! To boot, nothing even burned up yet!
2019! Moving on up! Renovated ye old garage into a true brew-space. Went fully automated and completely electric, still not on fire! Now to dial in the numbers and act like we know what we're doing!
2021- The BIG RE-BRANDING! The dream that began in 2013 as a Christmas gift "beer kit" and grew into O.E.C. Brewing is now moving closer to reality. This transition comes about as we begin to narrow down our plans and make subtle movements to start positioning ourselves out in the big leagues. Over the past two years we have shifted our brewing focus deeper into the world of lagers and other clean but characterful fermentations. Investing heavily on temperature control and other traditional lager techniques. The move into the complexities of lager brewing stem mostly from our own preferred tastes and also those who we've begun serving to more regularly. We have developed a core of about 8 recipes that we feel may be good just enough to launch us into the next chapter. As we further perfected these and our other beers we felt that us as a "company" was also in need of a fresh coat of paint. Something a little less unique to us, but something that may come to represent our future endeavors. As such, "Susquehanna Lagerhaus" has been born! We are excited to continue the pursuit of clean and clear beers and look forward to possibly transitioning further into the professional brewing world! Until then; Prost!
