Notes: IPAはウエスト・コーストスタイルということで、IBU60としっかり苦く、高アルコールとモルトの深みでバランス良く仕上げました。
ウエスト・コーストスタイルに対して、グラッシーなイメージがあるので、ホップはシムコー・アマリロで柑橘+ちょい芝感を出しました。モルトは異国のベースモルトを加えることで深みの味わいになるるという情報があったので、マリスオッター(イギリス)+ピルスナー(ドイツ)を使用して、深みのあるモルティーな味に仕上げました。 |

6 lbs of blueberries, 5 vanilla beans (scraped) that have been lightly pulsed and soaked in 8 oz woodford reserve bourbon for 48 hours.
26.5 oz graham cracker crumbs.
Let sit in secondary (with a blowoff tube) for 4 days.
Cold crash for 24-36 hours then keg. |
