| Notes: Mash normally, pitch 2 tablespoons of nonfat Greek Yogurt at 90 degrees, kept there for 24-48 hrs to desired pH or flavor. Bring back to boil for 60 mins, add 1 oz Huel Mellonfor 2 mins, chill to pitching temp and ferment normally. Add aseptic/pasteurized guava puree/guava at day 7 of fermentation. |

Target Mash at 154 degrees for 60 minutes.
On this brew I had a higher strike temp and hit 156-158 while cooling it down for 5-10 minutes until I got to 154.
60 minute boil.
Pre boil gravity: 1.029
Target Original Gravity: 1.036
Actual Original Gravity: 1.038
I expected 65% efficiency and got 68% on this brew.
I did a no sparge full volume of water during mash.
Pitched onto a yeast cake of M-15 Empire Ale that I bottle beer off of same day. |
