Making a two stage starter given the cell requirement. 08/01/2017 - 2 Liter 8.1 oz of light DME OG 1.045 by Refrac. Krewsin that evening on stir plate with healthy vortex. 08/02 - next morning healthy F going on and unable to any longer make a vortex in the wort. Evening continued F action, still no vortex. Shook up the beaker and left stir plate on, it did seem to be moving things around. no sign of settling yet.
