Notes: V1.0 Tasting Notes: This beer was one of the best beers I have ever made. Made in January 2014; will make again.
V2.0 Tasting notes: So much less body in this beer. It is the caramunich 3 for certain. Would bump up the mash temps to 158 and would add more melanoidin and unfermentables. The beer is just a bit thin for the guidelines, it needs the body to justify the lack of hops. Look for what to do again in version 1 not this one. |

Notes: - Pitch 12.5 °C and increase to up to 17 °C allowing the beer to dry out.
- Pitch berries into fermentor after a few days and leave there for a couple of weeks.
- It might be a good idea, a few days before bottling, to rack into a new fermentor. Then leave the beer to settle for a few days before bottling. |

I can confirm that the hops in Hobgoblin are Fuggles/Golding added to the Copper and Styrian/Cascade to the whirlpool for some late hop zesty character

Notes: This is intended to be a Summertime Shandy, not like your boring run-of-the-mill Lager with Lemonaide. This Imperial IPA is blended 2:1 with Sweetened Grapefruit Juice.
Make sure you buy grapefruit juice that has no Preservatives in it if you intended to bottle. Also, plan on checking the carbonation every few days or so after your initial 2 weeks, and pasteurize the bottles.
If you can Keg, get Juice with preservatives, and make sure you kill the yeast, Sodium Benzoate/Potassium Metabisulfate/ Potassium Sorbate.

Tasting notes:
Amber ale that is light and fresh. The green bullet is slightly orange flavored and lemony. Pretty good amber beer. Not sure if I would repeat the green bullet hops, nothing to write home about. |
