Notes: Notes: no yeast starter - one fresh pack of imperial. Hops weren’t vacuum sealed (resealed)
Tasting 2 weeks after kegging (vacation). Clean, dry pale ale. Malt is nice and subtle. Hope nose and aroma isn’t as strong as I would have hoped with the amount of hops used.
Tweaks: will potentially up the Amarillo whirlpool and up the first dry hop charge. Also probably add a piney/dank (Simcoe) hop to add depth to the citrus. |

Notes: 8. Secondary Fermentation After 5-7 days of fermentation, transfer into a glass carboy.
Before transferring add 2 6.5oz jars of the peanut butter powder and ¼ cup of cacao
powder (optional) to the secondary (you provide the cocoa powder). Transfer the beer
directly onto the additions. After 3 days add 4 ounces of cacao nibs. Allow the secondary to
continue for another 7 days (10 days total since the initial transfer). After the secondary is
completed proceed to bottling
