After I realized this, as i had a hose sanatizing, i reinitiated the boil. took about 20 mins to get there, held it for 10 mins then shut it down. tilts sa 1.045, hydrometer says 1..045 split batch s-23 and 34/70 s-23 1.008 34/40- 1.008

Made a starter with the Safale S-04, but would pitch 2 packs next time instead. Fully fermented, but not worth the extra work. It's calculating water volumes wrong somehow, but 7G went into my Spiedel 50l fermenter with plenty of headroom. Used 4 drops of Fermcap-S to limit fermenter blow-off, but prob not needed.
