Notes: Not aiming at any style, but rather strolling through my inventory back and forth, this Ale is a light, quite hoppy red beer brewed with plenty of English hops.
Not too strong in ABV so as to both save on extracts and have something refreshing for the next warm summer.
Have been batch sparging with warm water (around 50°C) for some 10 minutes. I took advantage of the small grist to squeeze every tiny bit of sugar out of it, gettinng a 1.039 OG. |

Notes: La cerveza se acoge mejor a una american ipa pero no cumple con los requisitos de IBU y gravedad final en este caso es una nueva categoría en pro que buscamos un bajo amargor pero que este se mezcle con el sabor a miel de la cerveza y cree ese toque de alcohol, miel y amargor en el palada.
Faltaría costear la miel, un tarro de 400g o cercano a esa cantidad.
Al agregar la miel estaríamos en el estilo de la cerveza celta como lo hacen algunas cervecerías en el mundo. hay dos métodos de agregar la miel y aporte sabor y olor a la cerveza. El primero es agregándola los últimos 10min de ebullición y el segundo pasteurizando la miel y agregarla en el periodo de maduración. |
