Airlock smells great.
8 brix FG.
The London ale yeast made a massive haze(typical with highly hopped beers) and some banana esters. This would be much better without the caramunich and 60L.
Fruity and pine notes.
Smooth and drinks easy.
If I made this again I'd use 05 or 1056 yeast and add a bit more bittering hops. |

| Notes: The first time I brewed this it was 1.082 OG but went all the way to 1.010 FG which was very surprising. The aggressive flavoring and dry hopping schedule hit the mark and the beer was well balanced, still had body, but was very dangerous. |

Savagely bitter, exceptionally dry, this IPA is born to die on a predetermined day. It proudly displays its short-lived life span front and centre. There is no better time to drink this than the moment you get your paws on it. Awesome bitterness backed up by unrelenting aromas of resin, citrus, and juicy fruit. Born To Die is a eulogy to the hops that sacrificed themselves in its creation. An incredibly ambitious and satisfying small batch brew. Fresh is best with this beer. Use fresh hops in the brew and during dry hop stages. Condition just long enough to let the powerful grassy aroma cut back - and drink.
