Notes:
Mash grains at 150 °F (66 °C) for 90 minutes.
Boil wort for 75 minutes adding hops and corn sugar per scheduled times.
Cool wort to room temperature and drain or rack the wort off of the trub.
Aerate the cool wort and oxygenate. Pitch both yeasts.
Ferment at 68 °F (19 °C) for 10 days in the primary and 2 weeks in the secondary.

Notes: Hit OG of 1007; FG was 1002. Colour was very dark (perhaps too dark).
Left it in the fermenter for a week - was somewhat worried I might get an infection given the ABV is so low, but doesn't seem to have happened.
If you re-brew, I recommend reducing the IBU. It is too bitter for the low ABV. |

Deep brown color with ample lasting head leaving a rich lacing on the glass. Very smooth with just the right bitterness to balance this full bodied 7% ale.
Not unlike a classic British chap, refined with a touch bitchiness around the edges.
