Notes: 1) 1.5 gals water, heat to 153F.
2) Add steeping grains to water in steep bag. Steep for 45 mins
3) Remove steeping bag w/grains
4) Add DME
5) Heat water to 203F, (low rolling boil)
6) Boil for 55 mins
7) Add hops in the last 5 mins
8) cool wort to ~75f, Take gravity reading
9) add wort to sanitized fermeter
10) Pitch 1/2 US05 yeast packet into wort
11) Shake the hell out of the fermeter
12) Ferment about a week at ~68F
13) bottle with carb drops for about a week
14) Put in fridge |

01/18/2026 Transfer to secondary fermenter gravity is at 1.020. Added 32oz of all natural, organic Pomegranate juice. I’m not sure if that is too much or too little to affect the overall flavor profile. Time will tell. At this point, I’m going to seal it back up and let it sit for at least two weeks. |
