Fikk smake en flaske etter at han fikk humlestiklinger av meg. :-)
Måtte bare brygge den jeg og.
Tror jeg ropper coldcrash og kjører 14 grader gjæring i minst 14 dager etterfulgt av 20 grader i 5 dager. Overføres oksygenfritt på fat og karboneres i kjøleskap. La stå noen uker (om jeg klarer det).
Funket ikke på 14 grader hos meg. Måtte opp på 16 for at gjæringen ikke skulle stoppe. Gjæret lenge, nærmere 5 uker. Økte temp på slutten.
Ble utrolig godt! Etter nærmere en måned på fat.

Notes: Very nice malt profile overall, but it might be better with a little bit less Crystal malt. Next time I will probably try 1 lb Crystal 120, and an extra pound of Munich or Maris Otter.
The floral/earthy notes from the hops are very pleasant, but subtle. It does not distract from the malt. For next time, I would consider slightly increasing the IBU by shifting a very small amount of the late addition hops to 60 minutes instead.
Served best with low-moderate carbonation. |
