at day 13 add 1 tbsp basil, 1 peeled and sliced cucumber, 1 peeled lemon, add the lemon peel to beer cut lemon in half and squeezed both halves and put both halves in beer, let sit for 5 days at 61 deg
on day 18 transfer to secondary to clean up 1.005 @ 63 deg.
the beer taste very light and refreshing, cant wait to keg and condition.

Notes: Made a few modifications from the American Brewers Association clone recipe of Dead Guy Ale. Biggest change is the yeast - packman yeast is very difficult to obtain. I made a mix of White Labs Marzen Yeast (a bit old and accidentally frozen) and a fresh White Labs San Francisco Yeast.
Keeping at room temperature until fermentation is visible (2-3 days) and then putting in shed at 50˚ for remainder of fermentation. |

May 9th - Brew Day - Pitch at 50 degrees with starter at 50 degrees. (Keezer)
May 19th - When fermentation begins to slow down (7-10 days), raise to 52 degrees for 2 days. (Keezer)
May 21st - Room temperature for diacetyl rest for 3-4 days (basement at 66 degrees)
May 25th - Cold crash at 35 degrees for 5-7 days (Keezer)
