Notes: Fermented at 55 for about a week and then gradually raising the temperature
10.7.25 . Efficiency low at 70%, perhaps boil off wasn't strong enough, I was low on propane. The starter worked well. Pitched at about 60° and quickly cooled to 55°
Made a 1 gallon+ starter on 2 gallon jugs of approx 1.25OG wort and a sprinkle in each I like sprinkling of dry Diamond yeast, saving the rest of the pack. I will decant and pitch with somewhat minimal beer.
Changed carapils to Great Chit and adjusted ounces down to whole ounces, and the pounds of Avalon up to an even .2 pounds.
MODIFYING TO RIVERBEND MALT AND HOPS I LIKE ON HAND. Hops are aged so giving utilization of 89%. At 100% the IBU would be close to 20IBU so this should be fine, and hopefully not too low. 34/70 has higher attenuation so don't mash over 60 minutes, or mash mash at higher temp like 154 and go for 75 - 90 minutes.
