| Notes: Mash at 156°F for 60 minutes. Mash out at 170°F. Sparge, collect runnings, and add the first-wort Nugget hop addition to the kettle. Boil for 60 minutes, adding Nugget hops with 40 minutes remaining and the brown sugar and malt extract with 15 minutes remaining. Conduct a 20-minute whirlpool after knockout with the Saaz hops. Pressurized fermentation at <15 psi at 65 F. |

Notes: BATCH-SPARGE STEPS
1. Increase grain quantities by 1.13x.
2. Mash with 5.03 gal water.
3. After mashing, add 0.61 gal water.
4. Stir and allow to rest a few minutes.
5. Recirculate wort till clear.
6. Run off 3.75 gal wort @ 1.064 SG.
7. After runoff, add 3.75 gal water.
