Notes: Starter of 3.5 oz with 1 liter water. Target cells 208 billion. Starter will provide 238 billion.
Add 1/4 Campden tablet to strike water and to sparge water to eliminate chlorine.
First dry hop is 1/2 oz each of Mosaic and Cascade. Second dry hop is 3 days later with 1/4 oz Mosaic and 1/2 oz Cascade. Leave for 3 more days and done. |

Sparge while grain bag is located in a plastic bucket; bucket should have a spigot.
My buddy just got into BIAB brewing and this was his first recipe with ingedients supplied by me.
We used a gas stove for this batch which turned out fantastic.
2 weeks in primary then 3 weeks in bottle. One of the best ambers I've tasted, hands down. |
