Notes: tasting it now before carbonation-- unusual flavor Anise? Strawberry? Different kind of bitterness, there were no boil hops but maybe too many in 190º whirlpool. BOttled 11/25/23.

Notes: Continuing with the DnD theme of Dwarven Stout, this is an experimental brew intended to mimic the descriptions of some of the ales along the coast of the fictional world of Faerun.
Style-wise, it's essentially a strong British ale. I used Nugget hops since I grow them, and sticking with the single hop puts a "home tavern" spin on this one. |

Final result is perfect ! carbonated in keg at 25 psi for 3/4 days and then to 12psi for 2 days . Amazing head / foam very creamy and perfeclty balanced . will brew this again ! |
