  • The acid needed in the mash can now be specified through a target mash pH.

  • Target water compare now also considers chalk that has been added to water or mash.

  • Integration with Brewer's Friend user configurable water profiles. Water profiles are now available as drop down items in the source water and target water sections. Look for the gear icon in the upper right, then click 'water profiles' to manage yours. Requires an account, but even trial users can setup their own water profiles.

  • Brewer's Friend recipe edit/view pages now contain a link to the calculator. When followed, the calculator pre-fills water volumes, target water profile, and recipe grist info based on your profile and the recipe. In the grist info section, there is now a button to update the grist from the recipe (if the recipe was changed).

  • Fixed ml/l support for acids.

  • Minor cosmetic fixes and input data validation checks.

  • A brief report of the overall water and mash pH can now be displayed at the bottom of each section.

  • Adds support for CRS/AMS which is a mix of sulfuric and hydrochloric acid that is commonly used by UK brewers.

  • Malt pH properties can now be entered as “DI water pH” or “acidity” if they are known. These options are available from the “type” dropdown in the maltbill.

  • Fixes a bug that prevented acid malt additions as % when the grist was specified as a malt bill.

  • An error is generated when acidulated malt is added without the specification of a grist. This makes sense since the acid from acidulated malt is not considered in the mash water and only considered when grist and water are combined.
