Mash at 152F for 60 minutes. A mash-out at 168F for 15 minutes is recommended, but not necessary. Drain, sparge, and proceed with a 60 minute boil.
Chill to 64-66F, pitch yeast, and allow to ferment at 66F for 2 to 3 weeks before bottling or kegging.
A secondary fermentation for one week to improve clarity and reduce sedimentation is optional. |

| Notes: Very fruity and citrus forward. The BRU 1 hops were a great experience. However, when they say they contribute a fresh cut grass aroma and flavor, they aren’t kidding. It was very obvious to me. However, a lot of other people could not pick that out so maybe I’m more sensitive to it. This is the first time using chit malt and I don’t know if I’ll go back it. Not sure I’m a fan of what it brings to the table. Might have to play around with it more. |
